Showers available at Lord Botetourt, and other water updates
Showers are now available at the cooling center at Lord Botetourt High School, according to Botetourt County emergency services director Carr Boyd.
Also, non-potable water is available in Buchanan behind the town hall.
This is in addition to the distribution sites for drinking water announced Monday at:
• Blue Ridge Library
• Buchanan Library
• Fincastle Library
• Lord Botetourt High School
• Eagle Rock Fire & Rescue
• Glen Wilton Fire & Rescue
Families of less than 4 may receive up to 2 cases of water; families of 4 or more may receive up to 3 cases of water.
We hear the biggest supplies are at Fincastle and Blue Ridge.
County officials encourage those with Internet service to alert their neighbors who may not be online that water is available.
