Wine Trail of Botetourt County Summer Concert Series Final Concert Announced

Fincastle, VA – The second annual Botetourt County Wine Trail Summer Concert Series is halfway through a very successful season. The series features five family-friendly, outdoor concerts designed to again showcase the great local food and wine that are available in Botetourt County.

Award winning recording artists Scott Miller and the Commonwealth, with My Radio, and Groova Scape will perform at the series’ closing concert event on September 15 at the Daleville Town Center music pavilion, while all three of the Botetourt County wineries and multiple food and craft vendors will exhibit a variety of their best offerings. Children’s inflatables will again be a part of this event’s activities offering something for everyone to enjoy. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs and personal pop-up tents to the September 15th show.

The series finale will wrap up a successful summer season that included an April opening event, and three additional concerts held at each of the three respective farm wineries. Two concerts remain in the series:

August 11, Blue Ridge Vineyard, 5 – 9pm

Featuring: The Fat Daddy Band

Ticket Prices are $8 and available at the gate

September 15, Daleville Town Center, 3 – 8pm

Featuring: Scott Miller and the Commonwealth

with My Radio and Groova Scape

Ticket Prices are $20 advanced purchase and $25 at the gate.

The award winning Comfort Inn-Troutville will be offering a concert package for the September 15th show which includes: an overnight stay in one of their beautifully renovated rooms, two concert tickets, 10% off food and beverages at the show, and deluxe continental breakfast for two. The discounted package price is $89.99 plus tax.

This year’s concert series is presented by LewisGale Regional Health System and WSLS TV-10 On Your Side, with additional support provided by Botetourt County Parks, Recreation and Tourism, 101.5-The Music Place, Daleville Town Center, John Alderson Agency, Bank of Botetourt, Boxley, City Magazine, Comfort Inn-Troutville, The Fincastle Herald, The Glebe, Lane Financial, Lumos, Remax All Stars Realty, and Remax All Stars-Dayna & Micki Patrick, Valley Bank, Verizon Wireless Zone-Daleville, Engineering Concepts Inc., Lanford Brothers Co., Western Virginia Land Trust, Sign Design, and Tidy Services.
