2nd-annual Tee One Up for Cancer golf tournament will be Friday, Sept. 7

Team Walking For Life will hold the “Tee One Up for Cancer” golf tournament at Botetourt Golf & Swim Club (2414 Country Club Road) on Friday, Sept. 7. Four person (men, women, mixed) Captain’s Choice teams. Free range balls will be offered to participants, so come early.

Registration and lunch (provided) will begin at 11:30 a.m. with a “Shotgun Start” at 1 p.m. We will have prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, plus contests for the longest drive and closest to the pin and various door prizes to include passes to area golf courses.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Hole Sponsors are $50. This is a great way to advertise your business.

Space is limited so reserve your spot now. Individual registration is $60. Registration deadline is Aug. 31. Please contact Penny Cochran at 473-3172 or email pacochran@ntelos.net to register, sponsor, or for more information.

Proceeds will benefit Relay For Life and the American Cancer Society.
