Asheville, N.C., groups schedule event to help former Botetourt County resident Debrissa McKinney pay medical bills
We’ve had several stories over the years about former Botetourt County resident Debrissa McKinney, who has been off making music and is now based in Asheville, N.C.
Here’s an update: The 2002 graduate of James River High School recently been diagnosed with and treated for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
Two Asheville groups have now scheduled a concert and other events to help her pay her medical bills.
