The following students were named to the dean’s and president’s lists of distinguished students at Roanoke College for the spring 2012 semester.

Erin Walker Reid of Blue Ridge, daughter of Dennis and Jennifer Walker, was named to the president’s list. To make the president’s list, a student must earn a semester GPA of 4.0.

Spenser Olivia Newcomb of Troutville, daughter of Mark and Cynthia Roberts, and Amanda Jo Sabin of Troutville, daughter of Walter and Cynthia Sabin, were both named to the dean’s list. A student must earn a GPA of at least 3.5, with no grade lower than a “C,” to be placed on the dean’s list.
