In the market for a new home? Don’t miss the Open House guide in the paper Saturday and Sunday.

Botetourt farmers are regulars at the Salem Farmers Market

If a homegrown tomato sandwich is what you crave where the tomato is bigger than the slice of bread, then come to the Salem Farmers Market to stall 17 and visit Layman Family Farms.

Sharon Layman, her husband Eric and their daughter Emma have some of the big Mr. Stripey tomatoes that just scream ‘sandwich!’ Sharon and Eric grow all their own fruits and vegetables and have a large variety to choose from.

The Laymans make their home in Botetourt and have been coming to our Farmers Market on and off for 10 years. They love the fact that our market is in the heart of Salem; they are friendly people and we love them. Thanks Sharon and Eric for choosing us!
