Gallery By the James, a local art co op, is struggling in Buchanan. The business has been there 10 years this coming February and they’d like to stay longer.
“Our business fluctuates, one month good and not so good the next,” said Lois Bittner, one of the artists who displays her work in the gallery. They have terrific things, jewelry, photography, art supplies, wonderful art, vintage items all reasonably priced. It is a great resource for gifts. Prices begin at $2. They also hold art classes call for a list of Fall classes. 254-9708
