Marlene Garten shares these photos of fawns, does and bucks around Troutville. She writes, “In all I have three fawns – one set of twins and one single fawn visiting on a regular basis. I have other does who come by, and I am positive they have had babies. But, after a while, they started coming back with last year’s kids and not new kids. So I am convinced that the many coyotes in this area have gotten a lot of the babies. It hurts, but I know this is nature at work.”
