Traffic Alert: Route 614 in Botetourt County to close for bridge repairs
SALEM – Beginning Monday, Aug. 20, the Route 614 (Arcadia Road) bridge over Interstate 81 in Botetourt County will be closed to traffic as part of an ongoing repair project. Detour signs will be posted advising traffic of alternate routes.
The bridge repairs will also require lane closures on northbound and southbound I-81 near exit 168 (Arcadia), Sunday through Thursday between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Motorists are advised to use caution in the area and expect delays.
The project is expected to be complete in June 2013.
