Central Academy, James River winter athletic meeting Oct. 17

The Central Academy Middle School and James River High School Athletic Departments will hold a required winter meeting on Wednesday, October 17, 6:30 pm at Central Academy Middle School. The meeting will cover the Botetourt County Concussion Policy, the Botetourt County Drug and Alcohol Policy, Drug Testing Policy, as well as VHSL and school rules and information.  All athletes must attend this meeting accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to hear this information before being allowed to begin the first day of winter sports practice.

There will be an additional meeting at James River will be on Monday, October 29th at 6:30. (This meeting is beneficial for CAMS wrestlers and JRHS athletes, but is after the start date for CAMS basketball).
If you have attended any of the policy meetings after the June 4, 2012 meeting at CAMS, you do not need to attend this meeting.  Also, folks must be present for the entire meeting in order to be given credit for attendance.

Any questions may be directed to Emily Gordon, Athletic Director at Central Academy Middle School.
