Good Samaritan Hospice to hold meeting for prospective volunteers Monday, Oct. 1
Are you looking for meaningful volunteer opportunities? Have you ever wondered, “What is Hospice?” or asked, “What would it be like to be a Hospice Volunteer?”
Please come to a one-hour informational meeting about hospice care and what it takes to be a Good Sam Hospice Volunteer. There is no cost or obligation! We will cover the basics of hospice and how volunteers are a special part of the hospice care we provide for our patients. We will also share how we can use volunteers to help in a variety of non-patient projects and activities.
Details will be provided for the upcoming FREE 8-sessions, 2 days a week, family support volunteer training, to be held in the Bonsack area. Come and learn more about what Good Samaritan Hospice can offer YOU in providing meaningful service to hospice patients and the community.
Monday, October 1st at 1:00pm
Blue Ridge Library
28 Avery Row Roanoke, VA 24012
