Historic Fincastle, Inc announces events

2012 HFI Annual Meeting will be Tuesday, October 23, at Santillane, 99 Housman Street in Fincastle.  The meeting time is 6:30 with light refreshments being served.  Guest speaker will be David Tickner, Fincastle Town Manager, speaking about the Sidewalk Enhancement Project.  HFI is still accepting memberships for 2012 which are good until March 31, 2013.  Send name, address, and check to HFI P. O. Box 19, Fincastle, VA  24090.  Individual memberships are $25 and family $35.

2012 HFI Fincastle Holiday Home Tour with Marketplace will be Saturday, December 8.  Join us in and around this historic town for a delightful tour of homes of centuries both past and present.  Tickets are $15.00 per person ($12.00 for HFI members) and will be sold at the Fincastle Baptist Church, 7330 Roanoke Road (Route 220) beginning at 9:30 AM on the morning of the event. Homes will be open from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM. The 2012 HFI Marketplace located in the Fincastle Baptist Church building, is free and will be open from 9:30 AM until 3:00 PM.  This venue will feature more than 30 local and regional artists selling wonderful gift and home decoration items.
