Botetourt County Van Service Program

Fincastle, VA – The objective of the Van Service Program offered by Botetourt County is to improve the quality of life for Botetourt County residents who are 55 and older living in their own home or have a qualifying physical and/or mental disability by providing transportation to and from essential personal and medical appointments. The County has been offering this service since 1993 and it is partially funded through donations received from individuals who utilize the van.

Upon the retirement of the County’s long-time van driver, Hazel Dooley, and effective September 4, 2012, Mrs. Penny Firestone and Mrs. Nancy Holbert will be persons of contact for this transportation service. Penny may be contacted at 540-589-4097 and Nancy may be contacted at 540-589-5150.
