Part of Fringer Trail Road will be closed Oct. 1-5 for bridge replacement
Beginning Monday, Oct. 1 a section of Route 645 (Fringer Trail Road) in Botetourt County will be closed to replace the bridge over a branch of Ellis Run.
This bridge is located on Route 645 about 0.5 mile from Route 644 north (Ellis Run Road) and one mile from Route 644 south.
Detour signs will be posted advising traffic of alternate routes. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area and expect delays.
Weather permitting, Route 645 is estimated to reopen on Friday, Oct. 5.
