Shayne Jennison makes movie

A couple of years ago the Botetourt community was introduced to a young man named  Shayne Jennison (see our posts here and here). He is a budding film maker. Here is an update on his life.

Shayne has a rare disorder called POTS. The acronym stands for an ominous sounding “Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome.” It keeps him from going to Lord Botetourt  like other teens, so he is a home bound student. He is active  making films when he feels well. While Shayne is still in the battle against the disease, he is making the best of a bad situation.

Recently he produced this funny interview of his Mom, Patricia, who is a great sport! Taken totally out of context, he produced a Q and A with her. So far, he has 40,000 hits on the YouTube video. It is on his production site, Slappy Cider. Enjoy!

Shayne films with a Canon digital SLR.

    Hey Shanye,

This is great! If you are looking for another film project idea, we could really use a funny, but informative, video about life with POTS. Please contact us at info@dysautonomiainternational.org. We would love to speak with you about this. And check out our new website: http://www.dysautonomiainternational.org.

    Keep up the good work!

    -Lauren
