Goshen Pass and Afton Mountain Fall Foliage Train Ride – Bus Trip Oct. 21

The Botetourt County Parks, Recreation and Tourism is sponsoring a bus trip to Clifton Forge, VA, on Sunday, October 21, 2012. The group will board Amtrak there for their fall foliage train ride to Charlottesville, VA.
In Clifton Forge, the group will visit the new Heritage Center which is part of the former C&O historic freight depot. They will view archives, photos, diagrams and the rolling stock housed there. The group will enjoy a catered boxed lunch which will be prepared in Clifton Forge. Downtown Clifton Forge will be having their Fall Festival that day.
The price of $89 per person includes: Roundtrip motorcoach transportation, ticket on Amtrak from Clifton Forge to Charlottesville, visit to C&O Railroad archives, admission to Heritage Center, boxed lunch from the Roanoker, motorcoach transportation from Charlottesville to Roanoke and a tour host.
Passengers can board the bus at the Bonsack Walmart, Route 460, Roanoke, VA.
