“Grab your beef by the horns,” part of VCE series

Presented by Virginia Cooperative Extension, and Virginia Tech, “Grab Your Beef Operation by the Horns” is a seven part series scheduled for Thursday evenings October 18, 25; November 1, 8, 15, 29; and December 6. The series will be held at the Fincastle Fire Department, located at 25 Vine Street Fincastle, VA 24090, 6:30pm – 8:30pm

During this series, participants will explore herd health, nutrition, reproduction, economics, genetics, marketing, and forage management. Sessions will be taught by industry experts, extension specialists, as well as top veterinarians.

Registration cost is $50 for the entire seven part series, which will help cover the cost of the meeting room, refreshments, as well as educational materials.
