Homeschool Series: Stream Search
Get waterproof shoes on to walk through a stream and discover how fast it moves, the different habitats of the stream, and what animals may hide under rocks and roots.

Homeschool Series: Whack-o Macro!
Be ready to get a little wet! With dip nets in hand, we will explore a marsh and a pond to see what whack-o macros (small animals living in these habitats) we can find, comparing habitats and learning the steps of the scientific method along the way.

Homeschool Series: Freaky Forest Finds
Taking our magnifiers, measuring tape, and other equipment, we’ll look under logs, at trunks of trees, and high in the tree tops to find what freaky critters live in different parts of the forest, investigating if the forest changes from one area to another.

Thursday, November 1 or Friday, November 9

Homeschool Series: Mysterious Meadows
Spiders, insects, tracks of mice – what else can we find in a field? With bug boxes in hand, we’ll explore different field habitats and compare how they are the same and how they are different.
