The Botetourt County Sheriff’s Office in partnership with the (DEA) Drug Enforcement Agency & (RAYSAC) Roanoke Area Youth Substance Abuse Coalition collected a total of 255.6 pounds of unwanted, outdated, or unusable medications. There were 177 collection points throughout the Commonwealth which in total received 14,702.2 pounds of potentially abusable medications.
