Project Access to host mobile mammography unit at Valley View Mall on Oct. 29
In honor of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness, Project Access of the Roanoke Valley will be providing a mobile mammography unit to the community.
Project Access of the Roanoke Valley will host the UVA Mobile Mammography Coach Event Monday, Oct. 29, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will be held outside at Valley View Mall in the parking lot across from Panera Bread. Free mammograms will be offered to women who do not have insurance and have a limited income.
Pre-registration is required, and there is still space available. To pre-register for a free mammogram or for individuals who would like to find out more information call Project Access Monday-Thursday at 344-4200. Information can also be found at www.projectaccessroanoke.org.
