St. Mark’s Episcopal spaghetti dinner Oct. 20

Fincastle, Virginia – St. Mark’s Episcopal Church will again hold its annual Italian Night Spaghetti Dinner at the Fincastle Firehouse on Saturday October 20, 2012.  The dinner will take place from 4:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.  The Italian Night theme will be portrayed in both music and decorations.  The meal cost is $7 for adults and $5 for children 6-12.  Children under 6 years of age eat for no charge.  The meal includes a large portion of home-made spaghetti, salad, garlic bread sticks, lemonade, ice tea, coffee and a variety of home-made desserts.  Meals will be available for take-out.

This is the 17th consecutive year St. Mark’s has held the dinner and it continues to be a popular event.  Tickets can be purchased in advance at the St. Mark’s Episcopal Church Ministry Center office on 221 S. Roanoke Street in Fincastle and from church members or may be purchased at the door.   Proceeds from the event are used for outreach ministries in the local Fincastle and Botetourt County area.  The event, put on each year by the Episcopal Men’s Fellowship of St. Mark’s, brings together a large part of the local Fincastle and surrounding community.  Home-made desserts and spaghetti sauce are prepared by the St. Mark’s Episcopal Church Women.  For more information contact St. Mark’s at 473-2370 or visit www.stmarksfincastle.org..
