Author Cece Bell working with ERES students.

October is Disability Awareness Month. In honor of the theme of the month, Eagle Rock Elementary hosted a guest speaker. Author and illustrator, Cece Bell, visited with all the classes from PreK thought fifth. She discussed her special abilities in spite of her hearing loss. Cece Bell has written and illustrated over 7 picture books for young readers. The most recent is a chapter book titled, Rabbit and Robot. Pictured with Cece Bell are students in the Helping Hands Prekindergarten class. She is teaching them how to draw the rabbit character from that book.
