Friday, November 9th: Craft Time – Shimmering Autumn Leaves. Hey kids! The beautiful fall leaves are almost gone, but if you join us for this fun craft time, you’ll get to create your own shimmering, glittering autumn leaves (using window screens, metallic paints, and glitter glue) to hold the magic of autumn near as winter approaches. Tuesday, November 13th: Storytime – Table Manners.  Do you know how to behave at the table? Join us as we read and learn about good table manners when we’re eating. 10:30am.  Sign up for this program at the front desk or call the library at 540-884-3880.

Wednesday, November 14th: Knitting Club. Join other knitters and crocheters from the community for this informal get-together where you can learn, help others to improve their skills, and work on projects in a relaxing environment. Bring your own supplies, projects, tips, and ideas to share. 10:00am.

Thursday, November 15th: Eagle Walkers (Walking Club): Join us at the library every Thursday as we walk our way to better health. 10:00am .

Thursday, November 15th: Book Club. Join us for our November Book Club and take part in the lively discussion of Cormac McCarthy’s gripping, Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, The Road. Copies of our December selection will also be available at the front desk. New members always welcome!  11:00am.

Friday, November 16th: Craft Time – Paper Bag Turkeys. Hey kids! Join us and create an adorable paper bag turkey to take home just in time for Thanksgiving. Gobble, gobble, gobble!  2:45pm. Sign up for this program at the front desk or call the library at 540-884-3880.

Tuesday, November 20th: Storytime – Thanksgiving (Did the Pilgrims eat popcorn?). At this storytime, we’ll discover some of the foods the Pilgrims ate on the first Thanksgiving.
