This six weeks, the first-grade classes at Troutville Elementary have been studying Responsibility, one of the pillars of character counts. To show their community responsibility, Mrs. Gardner’s and Mrs. Whisnant’s classes decided to make cards for Bethel Assisted Living. They chose to mail the cards to them, wishing them a happy fall and to let them know they are thinking about them. Pictured is one of the students, Taylor Nininger, working on her card.
