Photos: CAMS students celebrate Character Counts Week
Central Academy Middle School celebrated Character Counts Week from Oct. 21-27. The entire school was caught up in the spirit of demonstrating the six pillars of character that are taught throughout all grades in Botetourt County Schools. The pillars are citizenship, trustworthiness, respect, fairness, responsibility and caring. A door-decorating contest was held, and Mrs. Phillips’ 7th grade English class got into the swing of things and decorated both doors of the classroom that they share with the Family and Consumer Science classes.
