Girl Scout Junior/Cadette Troop 815 celebrated an early Thanksgiving on Sunday, Nov. 18, by preparing a meal for their parents. The girls completed their cooking badges by making mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, green bean casserole, pumpkin muffins, and an apple crumble. The hosts also smoked two turkeys to complete the meal. The girls created centerpieces and set the tables for the 30 people who attended the dinner. The girls did an outstanding job and everyone agreed the food was delicious!
