Eddie Aguire plans to re-open full time in March.

According to manager Eddie Aguire, Rancho Viejo in Buchanan is indeed closed but not permanently. On the front door a sign reads call 966-5030 for reservations for banquet buffets. It all comes down to customers being more plentiful in the spring and summer.

“The banquet buffet setting will be $15 per person,” said Aquire. He is taking reservations for parties and other events until March.

“Rancho Viejo will operate normal hours from March through October,” he stated. Aguire was also pleased that Buchanan approved liquor by the drink on Nov. 6. “That will be a benefit to us and other business,” he said.
