Today is election day. The polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.

We’ll have updates through the day on roanoke.com, and then election returns and analysis tonight. We especially call your attention to our Blue Ridge Caucus politics blog.

Here’s a run-down on what’s on the ballot in Botetourt.

And a reminder: Voters in the Rainbow Forest precinct will cast their ballots in a new location — at the Rainbow Forest Baptist Church Youth Center.

For a full list of election resources, see here.

If you hear of something happening at the polls you think we should know about — long lines, machine break-downs, etc. — let us know at news@botetourtview.com.
