Tonight’s football forecast: A cold end to the regular season

Kevin Myatt

Weather journalist Kevin Myatt

The high school football regular season comes to an end tonight.

Lord Botetourt is home against Northside at 7 p.m.; James River is on the road to Craig. Be advised the kick-off for that game in New Castle has been moved to 7:30 p.m.

If you’re going to either game tonight, here’s what weather journalist Kevin Myatt advises is in store:

Wear your warm clothing to high school football games Friday night – temperatures will be in the 40s with some breezes. But it will be dry, and there won’t be any 60 mph wind gusts or snow around like earlier this week.
