Tonight’s football forecast: Another good night for football

Kevin Myatt

Weather journalist Kevin Myatt

The high school football post-season starts tonight. Lord Botetourt hosts William Byrd; James River is on the road at Giles.

Weather journalist Kevin Myatt says it’ll be a good tonight to see a game:

“High school football’s perfect weather this fall continues into the postseason. Take jackets to playoff games Friday night, as temperatures will fall through the 50s into the 40s during the evening. But it will be dry, ideal November football weather.”

Last week we had photos from Lord Botetourt-Northside and James River-Craig.

We’re expecting photos from both games tonight, so check back for those. Or you can share your photos at news@botetourtview.com or use the “share” tool to upload 10 at a time.
