Business, industry courses scheduled for January, February by DSLCC
Three series of courses for business and industry have been scheduled by the Dabney s. Lancaster Community College Non-Credit Program at the Greenfield Education and Training Center in Daleville for the spring semester.
The “10-Hour OSHA 29 CFR 1910” class will be held on Thursdays, Jan. 17 and 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the “30-Hour OSHA 29 CFR 1910” class will be held on Thursdays, Feb. 7, 14, 21 and 28 from 8 to 5 p.m. The instructor is Ellen Sanders, of ES Consulting, an approved Outreach Trainer.
“Supervisory Skills Seminars”, with Charlotte Mason of the Advantage Resource Group, will be held on Thursdays, Feb. 14, Feb 28, March 14, March 28 and April 11 from 9 a.m. to noon. Topics include: “Boosting Employee Morale”, “Interviewing Skills”, “Coaching Skills”, “Performance Evaluation” and “Employee Discipline and Documentation.” Participants may sign up for individual seminars or for the whole series.
