Volunteers from the Eagle Rock Volunteer Fire Department visited Eagle Rock Elementary.  The purpose of the visit was to teach fire prevention and safety.   All classes participated in learning how to “Stop-Drop-and-Roll” to demonstrate what to do if clothing catches on fire. A firefighter, dressed in full turn-out gear, discussed with the students that they need not fear him as he is the same person inside his protective outfit.  Those volunteer firefighters who participated in the presentation were Lucas McCulloch, Ed Bennett, David Cox, Louis Saville and Darryl Johns.
