Indeed the lights are a community effort in the Town of Fincastle. Volunteers have made the lights over the streets and in the Town Park and the citizens have responded. The 4th of July is another great tradition. Come to Fincastle, walk around, see what is so special that the NPS is looking mightily at our county seat and environs of Botetourt County as a significant part of the Eastern Lewis and Clark Legacy Trail. The Nov. dedication of the NOAA marker was just the beginning!
This spring the sidewalk renovations begin and will make the walking tour of Fincastle and history even more accessible.

A lot of work goes into those lights. Kudos to those who make it happen! Just think what it would be like without them. Be sure to thank the volunteers who work to keep Fincastle lit. Thank you for such a wonderful tradition!
