Brendan Bell won the spelling bee competition at Troutville Elementary School on Dec. 13. He will represent Troutville Elementary at the division spelling bee on Feb. 12, 2013. Ashlee Woldman was the runner-up.
There were 12 students who qualified for Troutville Elementary School’s spelling bee by earning the top scores on a written spelling test.
