Photos: Troutville Elementary students graduate from DARE program
Deputy Balser spent nine weeks educating fifth-grade students at Troutville Elementary about drug abuse resistance. He taught students how to make healthy and wise decisions instead of getting involved with drugs, alcohol and negative peer pressure. Our students passed with flying colors!
Deputy Balser asked fifth-grade students to write an essay about what they learned through the D.A.R.E program and what positive decisions they would make in the future.
