Fincastle is well lit and decorated for the Holidays!

The Society to Keep Fincastle Lit would like to thank all of the volunteers who have helped us to once again, successfully light the town for the holiday season. Special thanks to LUMOS communications, for all of their support and help, which is invaluable to our efforts. Thanks also to the dedicated group who worked with us this year to repair, string, stage and assemble the decorations in advance of the LUMOS crews, as well as those who accompanied the crews through town as they strung the lights. Your cheerful efforts are all greatly appreciated. We are fortunate to live in such a beautiful place, where traditions like this one are visible reminders of the power of volunteerism. As always, we continue to remember the dedication of Willie and Brenda Simmons, and Randall Cronise, who for many years kept this tradition alive. If you wish to help, please consider making a donation to the Society to Keep Fincastle Lit, P.O. Box 250, Fincastle, Virginia 24090.
