Tinker Mountain Motors opens in Hollins

Tinker Mountain Motors is located in Hollins on Rt. 11 north.

A new  business, a preowned car dealer, Tinker Mountain Motors, has located on Lee Highway North in Hollins (next to the Hollins mobile home park). The owner is David Carroll, who has extensive auto service experience. His partner is Gary Alls, who has worked  in the automotive sales business in a number of different companies. Carroll is from the New River Valley originally and is also on the board of  directors of Teen Challenge.

The duo have cars in the $5,000 to $10,000 range and strive to find good cars at a good price that run well for their customers. “We want our customers to feel welcome.” He said of the location, “We have tried to restore our building to the feel of the mid 1950s.” They have numerous antique toys displayed as well as an old fashioned Christmas tree.

Drop by M-S  til 5 p.m. to see the cars on the  lot.
