On December 18th, Buchanan Brownie Troop 958 celebrated Christmas with their annual troop Christmas party. The girls had a pizza party, and thanks to the troop’s special helper, Rita Riley, they were surprised with a chocolate fountain for dessert. They made reindeer food, decorated ornaments, and exchanged gifts. They also worked on their Christmas service project – donated gifts to Arc Acres in Natural Bridge, a group home and adult day activity program for adults with developmental disabilities. Troop’s leader is Melanie Shanks; co-leader, Audra Vanover.
