Buchanan Elementary DARE Graduation

Buchanan Elementary DARE Graduation was held on Janaury 8, 2013 at 7:00pm at the Buchanan Elementary School. Deputy Balser worked with the 56 students weekly this fall and taught them about the dangers of drugs, alcohol and peer pressure. The students were required to compose an essay at the end of the program sharing what they had learned. Lily Dorsett was the winner for Mrs. Quesenberry’s class. Abbigale Link was the winner for Mrs. Myers’ class and Adeline Bisese was the winner for Ms. Medley’s class. Adeline Bisese was also the overall winner for the school.
