The Central Academy Middle School and James River High School Athletic Departments will hold a required spring meeting on Thursday, February 7, at 6:30 pm at Central Academy Middle School. The meeting will cover the Botetourt County Concussion Policy, the Botetourt County Drug and Alcohol Policy, Drug Testing Policy, as well as VHSL and school rules and information. All athletes must attend this meeting accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to hear this information before being allowed to begin the first day of spring sports practice.

There will be an additional meeting at James River on Monday, February 11th, at 6:30 pm.

If you have attended any of the policy meetings after the June 4, 2012 meeting at CAMS, or the fall or winter concussion meetings at James River, you do not need to be in attendance. Also, both the parent/guardian and the student athlete must be present for the entire meeting in order to be given credit for attendance.
