Colonial Baptist Church hosts community seminar March 17
Colonial Baptist Church is hosting a free community seminar on Sunday, March 17, 2013. Creation-Evolution & the Authority of Scripture will have four sessions, starting at 10am March 17. A second will be at 11am that day, with the third and fourth starting at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2013. The speaker will be Jay Seergert, President of the Creation Education Center. Seegert has degrees in Physics and Engineering and has been lecturing on Creation/Evolution & the authority of Scripture for the past 27 years.
Topics will include:
Why do most scientists believe in evolution?
Has evolution been scientifically proven?
Can we really take Genesis seriously?
What should we teach our children?
Is the Bible outdated & old-fashioned?
