Lord Botetourt wrestlers finished 2nd in Highlander Invitational; JRHS placed 5th
Lord Botetourt came in at 198 points behind Northside High School to finish second in the Highlander Invitational held at Glenvar High School Jan. 4 and 5. James river finished 5th with a score of 165 1/2. Finishing in first place individually were 285 weight class Brandon Winger who won for LB as did Kyle King at 170 pound weight class for JRHS.
Others who finished second were LBHS: Barnett and Markvart and from JRHS: Arney, Deacon and Kris King.
Third place finishers were LB: Ring, Giambersio and Lloyd; JR; Lancenese and Bruffey
