Red Cross seeking hero nominations
The Roanoke Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross and WSLS-10 are seeking nominations for the annual A Celebration of Heroes event, a community awards breakfast honoring local heroes.
Heroes will be recognized in ten categories: Community Impact, Emergency Medical Responder, Firefighter, Good Samaritan, Law Enforcement, Medical, Military, 9-1-1 Dispatch, Workplace and Education.
