Shotwell inducted to VHSL Sports Hall of Fame
Former JRHS coach and teacher John Shotwell was inducted into the VHSL Sports Hall of Fame this past Fall. Shotwell coached four state championship softball teams,golfers, basketball and football in his multiple decade of over 40 year career at James River High School. Pictured with him are Sheila and Doug Proffit, Steve Austin and Jimmy Barley.
