Buchanan Elementary participates in Jump Rope for Heart
Mrs. Lutjen’s fourth grade class
Buchanan Elementary participated in Jump Rope for Heart for the 14th consecutive year. The event was held on Friday, February 15th and raised over $4500.00 for the American Heart Association. One hundred and twenty-two students participated in third through fifth grade. Mrs. Lutjen’s fourth grade class (pictured at left) had 100% participation.
The SCA officers at Buchanan Elementary, pictured below, sold suckers to raise money for Jump Rope for Heart. They contributed $100.00 to the American Heart Association from their sale. From left to right are Kevin Austin, Owen Marshall, Mr. Harry Falls, Ethan Wagner, and Lakota Lucado.
