Penelope plans to open at Botetourt Commons in early March

Penelope, based in Appomatox, is a jewelry store that is now proud to present its 8th store location in the Botetourt Commons of Daleville. The other locations include three in Richmond and others in Charlottesville, Lynchburg, and Forest.
Now, some may ask, why Daleville? Well, Penelope Searcy, owner of Penelope said that for the 25 years that she has run her business she has accumulated a lot of Roanoke customers. She claims that many Roanoke residents have mentioned to her that Daleville would be a perfect place for her to open up another shop. After researching the demographics and realizing the locations relativity to things like schools and other stores Penelope realized that the Daleville location is very similar to her newest location in Forest, and would be a great place to open a new shop and expand westward of Lynchburg.
Starting out as primarily clothing, Penelope now offers fine jewelry and accessories including Searcy’s very own line of sterling silver jewelry. Penelope brings you products of the latest fashions like Toms shoes, Vera Bradley accessories, and jewelery from top name brands like Brighton, Pandora, and Kamelion.
Searcy says that her and her colleagues are working diligently on getting the shop at the Daleville location and have hopes of holding their grand opening the first week of March. Not only will there be an exciting grand opening but Penelope will celebrate its 25th anniversary the same day with a sale.
Penelope has about 130 employees and searches for more as it opens up their new location.
