Photos: State Wrestling Tournament
Lord Botetourt High School entered the VHSL 2A wrestling tournament with two wrestlers, freshman Sam Ring and sophomore Kyle Haley. Both made it to the mats twice before leaving the tournament on Friday.
James River High School came in the 1A after winning the regions with Cody Snead, Luke Arney, Caleb Sink, Jonathan Lancenese, Owen Deacon and Tyler Harlow. At the end of the day Arney finished 5th in 120 and Sink finished 7th in 132. Deacon made it to the finals and finished second in the 182 weight class.
