Rhonda McDonald publishes two children’s books
Rhonda McDonald is a published author now!
Published! Rhonda McDonald is a reading specialist at Breckinridge Elementary School. She has two books out Polar Bears and The White Whale. Published by Hameray Publishing Group, the books are generally written by teachers and for classroom use.
The mother of three grown children, McDonald hopes to continue her career as an author by writing more non fiction books for the the publisher. She is very interested in animals and has several ideas for her next topics.
She submitted the stories and the company matched the photos to the story. Beluga whales are the subject of The White Whales.She refers to them as the canary of the seas due to their expressive songs. Polar Bears is the other book. McDonald is a real expert on Polar Bears. She has photos on her Facebook and website that she has taken of Polar Bears.
She has taught in Roanoke City, Roanoke County and Botetourt County where she resides. She has also been a semi finalist for a McGlothlin Award.

Whoops! Three grown children…….
The books are great and the author is a truly talented, Christian author. I ordered one of the books for my grandson’s birthday. It is easy to read to him and he can understand the words. Thanks, Rhonda, and good luck with future writing efforts!
