Photos: Snow Day Feb. 8 in Botetourt County

Four Fridays in a row snow has caused some chaos in Western Virginia. Students are once again  celebrating a snow day in Botetourt County. As much as five inches have been reported in sections of the county. The system chugs northward  building into what is being described as a storm of historic proportions named “Nemo.” Back in Fincastle in the mid 20th century “Nemo” was a description of cold weather and  meant in the southern vernacular – “Need  mo’ clothes!”  Sounds like this storm that passed through our area  will be aptly named for the Northeast!
