Upcoming Girl Scout programs canceled, to be rescheduled

The following programs have been canceled and are currently being re-scheduled.

  • Girl Scout Nature Programs: Get Brownies Out on Thursdays!
    Nature Investigations is offering nature programs to get Brownie Girl Scouts outside to experience hands-on science. After each program, girls receive a Nature Investigations patch as a reward. $5/scout, no charge for adults or tag-alongs. Registration required by emailing natureinvestigations@gmail.com or calling 706-220-0980. If you have a Daisy, Junior, or Cadet Girl Scout, please contact Nature Investigations for other program options. Thursdays, 4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • March 21, Garst Mill Park, Roanoke or April 18, Greenfield Park, Daleville
    Flora and Fauna
    Become a tree, then act like an animal; try finding clues left behind from both plants and animals. This program will earn your brownies the Plants Try-it and the Watching Wildlife Try-it.
  • May 16, Garst Mill Park, Roanoke, or May 23, Greenfield Park, Daleville
    Habitat is Home
    Hunt for animal homes, move like wild wetland critters, make a nest, and more. This program will earn your brownies the Eco-explorer Try-it and the Animals Try-it.
